Believe in the Invisible

Believe in the Invisible is a project aimed at raising awareness and promoting understanding of invisible disabilities. The project creates immersive "Experience Zones" that simulate challenges faced by individuals with invisible disabilities, hosts events combining art and advocacy, and develops training modules for corporations and public institutions.

Project Goal

The project aims to increase public awareness and understanding of invisible disabilities through targeted education and immersive experiences. It advocates for systemic change and inclusivity across various sectors, including corporate environments and public spaces. Additionally, the project provides a platform for individuals with invisible disabilities to share their stories and express themselves through art and storytelling, fostering empathy and greater recognition of their experiences.


Project Team

The Believe in the Invisible project is led by a dedicated team consisting of Anjali Vyas, Aarti Batra, and Shashank Pandey. This small but passionate group brings diverse skills and experiences to the project, driving its initiatives


Top Achievements

  • Major Event Participation: Successfully hosted "Experience Zones" at major events like the International Purple Fest in Goa and Delhi, drawing attention from disability rights advocates and government officials.

  • First Physical Event: Organized "Hushed Impressions" in Delhi, featuring art exhibitions, performances, and panel discussions focused on disability awareness.

  • Corporate Partnership Discussions: Initiated discussions with the GMR group to train airport staff on supporting passengers with invisible disabilities and created modules for MOPA Airport ground staff in Goa to enhance service for these travelers.

  • Social Media Growth: Achieved a 500% increase in LinkedIn followers, reaching 2,000 followers, indicating significant growth in online presence.

  • Story Collection: Collected 15 personal stories from individuals living with invisible disabilities, enriching the project's narrative database.

  • Storytelling through Art: Continue to gather and share stories from individuals with invisible disabilities, using different artistic mediums.
